As in the other valleys of Cappadocia, there are many churches, monasteries and shelter areas carved into the rocks.

Güllüdere Valley also has the best and most popular trekking and trekking tracks of the Cappadocia region. You can only go to Güllüdere Valley, which has a 4 km walking track, on foot. You will see many dovecotes while walking in the valley.
The Güllüdere Valley track is divided into two. One of them leads to the settlement areas carved into the rocks, which were used as hermitages by the priests and monks of the period. There are a total of 5 churches in the valley: Yovakim - Anna Church, Direkli Church, Ayvalı Church, Crusader Church (Saint Agathangelus Church) and the Three Cross Church.

Among these churches, Yovakim - Anna Church is one of the most visited churches in the region due to its very rare Virgin Mary fresco.
